"BOW WOW HAUS" Tampa Humane Society
Teaming up with the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, about 40 artists, including Romero Britto, designed funky yet functional doghouses that were displayed across the Tampa Bay area. Eighteen went on view at the Tampa International Airport, thirteen at West Shore Plaza and six at Ruth Eckerd Hall.
Britto's art was also used to creat a gigantic, 60 x 60 mural that is mounted on a building at Gold Bank Plaza. His art was also featured on the cover of Barkitectural Record, a commemorative book issued by the Outdoor Arts Foundation.
