Presentation in Abu Dhabi
Romero Britto visits Abu Dhabi on an invitation to speak to the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi about his work of art. One of only three invited presenters in this exclusive discussion on Pop Art; Re-defining the everyday, Britto joined Mark Francis, curator and director of Gagosian Gallery London, and Bob Colacello, of interview Magazine fame and close confidant of Andy Wahols who is also a special correspondent for Vanity Fair. A few exclusive stars in the design world such as iconic chair designers The Campana Brothers were on hand the day prior for a presentation on design.
UPDATE: Quickly making Abu Dhabia a capital of the arts in the region, the family acquired approximately twenty original Britto work of art and sculpture for their exquisite collection. While in the United Arab Emirates Britto, Francisw and Colacello were also special guests of the opening of Art Bubai.
